BAKHSHISH KAUR SANDHU Mrs. Bakhshish Kaur Sandhu passed away peacefully on the evening of October 17, 2005, at 84 years of age. She was born in Pharala, Panjab, to Master Dogar Singh Atwal and Mrs. Harnam Kaur. She was married to Sardar Darshan Singh Sandhu and eventually immigrated to Canada in 1981. Her husband passed away in 1999. She is survived by her younger sister Karamjit Kaur Warraich (Pritam Singh); and sons, Balbir (Nirmal), Surinderpal (Sukhwant), Joginderpal (Kiranjit) and Sarbjit (Jasmeet); and daughters, Rajbir, Jagdip (Baljit), Kanwaljit (Sawinder); and 14 grandchildren, Amonpreet (Rajvir), Manjot, Navjot, Navraj, Prabhdeep, Ranjot, Amanjot, Arshdeep, Mandeep, Prabhsharn, Harman, Carman, Harleen and Gurleen. Her family thanks the staff of West Park Manor for the care they provided. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. After the funeral, religious prayers will be held at Winnipeg South Sikh Centre, 500 Dovercourt Dr. THOMSON IN THE PARK Funeral Home and Cemetery 1291 McGillivray Blvd - 925-1120 (between Pembina and Waverley)
